It impairs the digestion process, and ultimately the ability of a slug to process food
Feeding stops almost immediately and slugs retreat underground to die
Ingestion of pellet leads to vital organs being overloaded with iron, resulting in death

Monitor slug and snail population

  • Check slug and snail mats to see if crops are under threat
  • Helps in determining use rate of IRONMAXPRO®

Broadcast early

  • At sowing; Before crop emergence. Application before sowing is an option based on slug population
  • Where pest pressure is heavy, it may be necessary to repeat the application

Broadcast carefully and evenly

  • Use calibrated spreaders (rate x width x speed)
  • Distribute evenly across spreading width
  • Do not place in heaps
  • Clean up spilled baits
